Rubin Jerrel Huff, Sr., age 78, passed away on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at his residence in Deweyville, Texas surrounded by his family. He was a graduate of Newton High and was voted as “Most Handsome” during his Senior year. He was a faithful member of Calvary Baptist Church and sang in the choir. He served his country in the United States Army.
He was the son of the late Willie Dale Huff and Bulah Bea Huff.
He is survived by his children, Robert Daugherty, Mary Singleton , and Rhenda Edwards and husband, Freddie all of Deweyville, Tx., Geraldine Steadham and husband, Ray of Starks, Louisiana, Rachael Bussell and husband Kelly of Deweyville, Texas; Rubin Jerrell Huff, Jr. And wife, Jennifer of Bridge City, Texas and Lisa Moore and husband, Chuck of Orange, Texas along with 26 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild on the way. He is also survived by two sisters, Dorothy Burks and husband Carl of Ore City, Texas and Willie Faye Brasher of Ore City, Texas
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Dale Huff and Bulah Bea Huff; his first wife and the mother of his children, Martha Huff and his second wife, Marcia Huff; two children, Deborah Kay Johnson and James Dale Huff; and fourteen siblings.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 beginning at ll:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at Calvary Baptist Church, 2335 Hwy 12, Deweyville, Texas with the funeral service to began at 1:00 P.M. Interment will be at Trout Creek Cemetery, Call Texas.
