Nicole Diane “ Nickie “ McGalin, 31, of Orange, passed away Sunday, August 30, 2015 at the Baptist Hospital of Southeast Texas in Beaumont. Nickie was born on April 7, 1984 in Galveston, Texas to her parents, Bobby Lynn McGalin and Tracy (Lucky) McGalin, she was a lifelong resident of Orange, had also lived in Evadale, she was a homemaker and she was of the Baptist faith. Nickie was a happy go lucky lady and she enjoyed spending time with her family especially at the sand bar on the river.
Nickie is preceded in death by her father, Bobby Lynn McGalin; her stepmother, Amanda McGalin; her paternal grandfather, Kenneth McGalin; her paternal great grandparents, Earl and Pauline McGalin as well as her uncles and aunts. Those who will most cherish her memory are her son, Jaden Williams of Evadale; her paternal grandmother, Pearl McGalin of Orange; her sisters, Carita Douvio and Sarah Fuselier both of Orange; her brothers, John C. Reynolds, Jr. and Joseph M. Reynolds, both of Orange. Nickie is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Services to remember and honor Nickie’s life will be at 11:00 A.M. Friday, September 4, 2015 in the Chapel of Dorman Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Reverend Harold Nazworth, pastor of the Northwest Baptist Church in Vidor. Graveside services and Interment will be at 2:00 P.M. Friday at the Antioch Cemetery in Buna. A gathering of Nickie’s family and friends for a time of reflection will be from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home. Honoring Nickie as pallbearers are John Reynolds, Jr., Joseph Reynolds, Calvin Roach, John Peet, Benny Earl Murphy, Scotty Coleman and Jacob Hare.
