Galveston County Sheriff’s Office issued warrants Thursday against Deionte Thompson, Morris Joseph, Rufus Joseph and Dee Wolfford for felony aggravated assault.
Morris and Rufus are students at West Orange-Stark HS, Thompson is in Alabama attending the university on a football scholarship, and Wolfford graduated several years ago from WOS.
The four are charged with the beating of 18 year old Noah Frillou of Orange at Crystal Beach during Spring Break March 18. A fight broke out and Frillou, claiming to be an innocent bystander, was sucker punched and then beaten while he laid on the sand. He suffered broken bones throughout his face that required titanium plates to fix.
Sheriff’s Investigators say cellphone video and witness testimony lead to the warrants.
As of Friday, both Thompson and Wolfford have both turned themselves in and have been bailed out of jail.
