Tuesday is the last day for early voting in Saturday’s city, school and special district elections. Extended hours will be held at all the sites.
Bridge City voters in for the school board and city council races will go to the school administration building from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Voters in the Orange City Council and West Orange-Cove school board races will vote from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Orange Public Library.
The Little Cypress-Mauriceville school board race has early voting from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Orange Public Library, the LC-M Education Center on FM 1130, and the Mauriceville Fire Department on Highway 62 North.
Emergency Services District 4, covering the Mauriceville and McLewis areas, is having two options on the ballots. Voters will choose one or both, or reject one or both. The options are for an increase in property taxes and creation of a sales tax. Early voting will be 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Mauriceville Fire Department.
The Vidor ISD is having a $73.5 million bond election to build a new high school. Early voting will be 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the administration building on East Bolivar Street.
Pinehurst and West Orange canceled elections after no opposition to incumbents filed. The Orangefield and Deweyville school districts have board elections in November.
