Orange police Saturday morning discovered five pickup trucks had been hit by thieves at a boat launch on DuPont Drive. Patrol officers about 9 a.m. reported broken windows on the trucks parked at Lottie’s Landing, 2106 DuPont Drive, along Adams Bayou. All trucks had empty boat trailers attached. Police reported the five owners lived in Louisiana.
Also Saturday morning, a woman who was parked at Northway Park, 2000 Clark Lane, reported a car burglary. She called police about noon to report her wallet had been stolen. She said she had left the window cracked open.
Saturday afternoon about 4:30, a resident in the 400 block of West Cypress Avenue reported the theft of two iPhones. The resident told police she was home and someone came inside and took the iPhone 6 and iPhone 7 off the kitchen table.

Friday night at 8:20, three people were taken to the local emergency room after a collision in the 3100 block of Edgar Brown Drive. Orange police reported a Volkswagen Jetta driven by a 20-year-old woman from Orange pulled out from a private drive into the path of a Ford Fusion. The Fusion was driven by a 27-year-old man from Orange and a 25-year-old woman was in the passenger seat. The two drivers and the passenger were taken by Acadian Ambulance to Baptist Hospital Orange Emergency Room. Police report all their injuries were non-incapacitating.
