On Friday, December 12, at 8:57PM Officer of the Orange Police Department responded to a disturbance with shots fired at 3733 Ridgemont Dr. Upon arrival Officers discovered a male, with gunshot wounds, deceased in the front yard. They also discovered another male at the residence suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Currently the investigation has revealed four males pulled up to the house in a full sized, four door truck, unknown make and model. Three of the subjects, all armed with firearms, entered the house. A gun fight occurred between the occupants of the house and the three subjects. The subjects ran from the house and one subject collapsed in the yard and died of his wounds. The other subjects fled in the truck. The deceased subject has been identified as Francisco Sanchez, 35, of Houston. One occupant of the house, Brian Gant, 31, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and is currently in critical condition at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Beaumont. During the investigation, officers discovered over seven pounds of marijuana, hundreds of pills, PCP, and other controlled substances in the house. Two female residents of the house were arrested on multiple drug and weapon charges. They are: Kenyatta Walker, 35, and Tymecia Walker, 20.
