The cities of Bridge City, Orange, Pinehurst and Vidor, along with the Orange County Emergency Services District No. 3 (Little Cypress) have a sales tax rate of 1.5 percent, meaning consumers pay 1.5 cent per $1. The City of West Orange has a rate of 1.25 percent, or 1.24 cent per $1. Orange County collects 0.5 percent, or a half-cent per $1. The returns are:

Orange: $283,327 for May. $2,279,459 for the year to date.
Pinehurst: $44,646 for May. $359,138 for the year to date.
Vidor: $186,567 for May. $1,461,194 for the year to date.
West Orange: $90,124 for May. $674,125 for the year to date.
Orange County: $371,548 for May. $2,983,161 for the year to date.
Emergency Services District No. 3: $47,612 for May, $214,332 for the year to date.
