The City of Pinehurst is the only entity in Orange County that has seen dropping sales tax revenues so far in 2015. The Texas Comptroller’s Office sent monthly sales tax payments last week covering September sales. Pinehurst is down by $48,718 from the first nine months of 2014.
City sales tax figures for September are:
Orange County: $471,278 for the month, $4,754,864 for the year to date, up $463,160 for the first nine months.
Bridge City: $146,454 for the month, $1,546,443 for the year to date, up $295,729 for the first nine months.
Orange: $619,313 for the month, $3,706,000 for the year to date, up $345,286 for the first nine months.
Pinehurst: $58,134 for the month, $573,622 for the year to date, down $48,718 for the first nine months.
Vidor: $304,671 for the month, $2,397,814 for the year to date, up $151,579 for the first nine months.
West Orange: $96,201 for the month, $1,041,635 for the year to date, up $51,283 for the first nine months.
Orange County Emergency Services District 3 (Little Cypress Fire and Rescue): $17,851 for the month, $545,577 for the year to date, up $125,836 for the first nine months.
