At approximately 2:00am Sunday, there was a three vehicle crash on Highway 62 in Jasper County. A 2015 Dodge pickup truck was traveling southbound in Highway 62. The driver of the Dodge crossed the center line and struck a 1999 Ford truck head-on. Both drivers were able to get out of their vehicles. Approximately five 5 minutes later, a Toyota pickup truck traveling southbound on Highway 62 struck the Ford that had been disabled from the earlier crash. The impact of the collision, caused the Toyota to flip over onto its roof. The driver of the Toyota, Alexander Burnett (22) of Silsbee, was transported to St. Elizabeth hospital with non life threatening injuries. The driver of the Ford, David Landry (53) of Buna, was also transported to St. Elizabeth hospital. His injuries do not appear to be life threatening. The driver of the Dodge, Jacie Elaine Viator (22) of Orange, sustained minor injuries but was not transported to a hospital.
