Three separate accidents during the weekend sent four people to hospitals, but none were seriously hurt, according to Orange police reports.
Two cars collided Friday at 5:48 p.m. on Highway 62 North at FM 1078. 83-year-old Joseph Payne of Orange, who was driving a Chevrolet Malibu, was taken by Acadian Ambulance to Baptist Hospital in Beaumont. Police reported his injuries were minor.
18-year-old Chad Simpson of Groves was driving a Mercury Grand Marquis and was not hurt.
Police said the Malibu was traveling southbound on Highway 62 and was turning left, or east, onto FM 1078. The Mercury was going northbound on Highway 62 and the cars collided when the Chevrolet was turning.
Police reported the driver of the Malibu was given a citation for failure to yield right-of-way.

Both drivers had to be taken to a Beaumont hospital after being injured in a collision Saturday afternoon at Lutcher Drive and Bob Hall Road. Police said 35-year-old Nathaneal Washington of Orange was driving a Mercury Marquis on South Lutcher Drive. 18-year-old Autumn N. Magnuson of Bridge City was driving a Nissan Juke southbound on Bob Hall Drive.
The vehicles collided about 5:30 p.m. Both were taken by Acadian Ambulance to St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. Police described their injuries as non-incapacitating.
The driver of the Mercury received citations for failure to maintain financial responsibility and violating a restriction. The driver of the Juke was given a citation for failure to yield right-of-way.

A 27-year-old woman from Orange was injured Sunday night when her pickup truck ran off the roadway as she was traveling on the westbound Interstate 10 service road. She told police she swerved to avoid hitting a pedestrian in the middle of the road.
The accident was reported at 8:13 p.m. in the 800 block of Lutcher Drive. Sarah Walters was taken by Acadian Ambulance to Baptist Hospital in Beaumont. Police described her injuries as non-incapacitating.
Engine trouble caused more trouble for a man traveling through Orange. When he left his Cadillac on a vacant lot, it was stolen. He notified Orange police Sunday afternoon when he returned to find it missing.
The man from Gonzales, Louisiana, said he was traveling on Interstate 10 about 7:15 a.m. when the car started showing signs of engine trouble. He parked the car on a vacant lot in the 3200 block of Eighth Street, locked it and took the keys.
He hitchhiked to Gonzales, got his work truck and came back to Orange about noon. The 2008 silver Cadillac DTS was gone.

A beer delivery person had a computer tablet stolen Friday at a business on Green Avenue. The employee of Del Papa Distributing of Beaumont told Orange police she set the tablet on the counter of the business in the 1100 block of Green Avenue. She went back to the truck and when she came back inside, the tablet was gone.
Thieves made a clean getaway Friday after stealing a washer and dryer from a garage. Police were called at 5:30 p.m. Friday to the residence in the 1900 block of Wildwood Drive. The owner returned home to discover the appliances were gone from the attached garage.
A car break-in was reported about 12:20 p.m. Saturday in the 800 block of Center Street. The front passenger side window of a Honda Fit had been broken. Someone rummaged through the glove compartment, which police found open.
