Three people were injured, one seriously, during a rear-end collision about 9:30 Friday morning at the intersection of FM 105 and FM 1132.
Sergeant Stephanie Davis with the Texas Department of Public Safety said a Ford pickup truck was stopped at the traffic light at the intersection waiting to make a left turn onto FM 1132. A Nissan passenger vehicle slammed into the back of the pickup.
The driver of the Nissan, 66-year-old Sharon Fetterrolf of Silsbee, was taken by medical helicopter to St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. Sergeant Davis said Fetterrolf has serious injuries to her lower extremities.
The driver of the pickup, 69-year-old Warren Wylie and his wife, Arlin Wylie, of Vidor were taken to St. Elizabeth. The extent of their injuries has not been reported.

Pinehurst and West Orange police arrested a 37-year-old man for methamphetamine about 2 Thursday afternoon. Pinehurst Chief Fred Hanauer said officers responded to a call about a suspicious person in the 1400 block of Strickland Drive about 2 p.m. Thursday. The chief said officers saw a man in a vehicle behind a business at 1402 Strickland Drive.
During the investigation, the officers saw methamphetamine and conducted a search. They also found more meth, alcoholic beverages and drug paraphernalia.
37-year-old Eric Paul Duhon of Orange was arrested and taken to the Orange County Jail. He faces a charge of possession of a controlled substance.
