Orange police and firefighters gave emergency aid Wednesday afternoon to a man that had been stabbed in the thigh. He was being driven in a car to a hospital by woman speeding southbound on Highway 87 North. She called authorities about 3:30 p.m. to tell them about the stabbing. Police and firefighters met the car at the intersection of Martin Luther King Drive to help the man until Acadian Ambulance arrived.
The man was able to hop to the ambulance gurney and was taken to the hospital.
The stabbing was outside the Orange city limits and is being investigated by the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.
