A man who was stabbed during a disturbance on Main Avenue in Orange Friday afternoon is expected to survive, said Police Detective Robert Enmon.
The victim was identified as 38-year-old Richard Wayne Taylor Jr. of Orange. Police were called to the 1500 block of Main because of a large distrurbance. They found Taylor in a vehicle. He was bleeding from the chest.
Captain Enmon said Taylor was apparently stabbed, but witnesses and others are not cooperating with the police investigation.
A woman drove Taylor to a local emergency clinic and he was then taken to a Beaumont hospital.

On Friday, Aug. 18 at around 5:17pm Orange Police responded to the 1500 block of Main where they found a 38 year old man inside a vehicle bleeding from a wound to the left side of his chest.
Police haven’t said whether the wound was from a gun or some other weapon.
A female who was driving the vehicle took him to an emergency center before he was stabilized and taken to a Beaumont hospital. His condition is unknown at this time and no arrests have been made. If you have any information please call the Orange Police Department.
