On Tuesday, October 10, 2017 right before 1:00 p.m. the Orange County Sheriff’s Office Special Services Division observed a black 2016 Ford F-150, traveling eastbound on Interstate near Hwy 62 in Orange. The driver failed to maintain a single lane and also failed to signal lane change.  When deputies initiated a traffic stop, the driver did not comply and began to increase speed.

The Sheriff’s Office and other local units responded to the locations where items were thrown from the vehicle as the pursuit continued through Vidor and into Beaumont with assistance from the Vidor and Beaumont Police Departments.
