Burglars and thieves continue to plague Orange residents, including two in the Ridgemont subdivision.
Early Friday morning, a couple living in the 3600 block of Ridgemont Drive returned home to discover computer equipment was missing. The couple called 9-1-1 at 12:37 a.m. after realizing about $2,000 worth of computer items had been stolen.
About 6 p.m. Thursday, a resident in the 1300 block of Bay Street in the Ridgemont subdivision reported that a BMX bicycle had been stolen from the garage.
On Thursday morning, police went to the apartments on 37th Street when a resident discovered that someone had stolen the four tires and four wheels from the car. The car had been parked since about 6 the evening before in a parking space at the complex.
A resident living in the 900 block of John Avenue called police about 2:30 p.m. Thursday when returning home and seeing the front door unlocked. A 40-inch TV was missing. Police collected a 10-inch triangular file as evidence. It was left behind in the house.
