Orange police are investigating a gunshot that hit the windshield of a vehicle with three young adults inside. Detective Captain Cliff Hargrave said one of the men inside was slightly cut by glass that was broken by the shot.
According to Officer Brian Latiolais, the shooting was about 5 a.m. Sunday at Eddleman Road near the cutoff to Interstate 10. Two men and a woman, all age 19 and from the Little Cypress area, were in the vehicle. Officer Latiolais reported one of the men is in the military and the other man is a student at Texas A&M.
The three told police the shot was fired at them by three people they know who were in a white pickup truck. Detectives are investigating the shooting as an aggravated assault.
