A teenage driver received a ticket Tuesday evening after causing a four-vehicle collision on 16th Street. All the vehicles were damaged but no injuries were reported. The pile-up closed two lanes of traffic and caused cars to back up for more than two blocks.
The collision was about 5:20 p.m. in the 3100 block of 16th Street south of Interstate 10.
Orange Police Officer Patrick McDonald reported three cars were stopped at a traffic light when a Ford F 150 pickup driven by a 17-year-old boy from Orange collided into one car and causing the multi-collision. The teen was ticketed for failure to control speed.
