Two people were sent to hospital after a three-vehicle collision at 3:15 p.m. Tuesday on Strickland Drive at Edgar Brown Jr. Drive.
Orange police report 52-year-old Barbara Crow, who was driving a pickup truck, was taken to St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. 38-year-old Christopher Wright, who was driving a Ford Mustang, was taken by Acadian Ambulance to Baptist Hospital in Orange.
Officer J.L. Goins reported Wright’s Mustang was stopped at the traffic light facing south at the intersection. Crow’s pickup was stopped behind the Mustang.
Officer Goins said a Chevrolet Silverado pickup driven by a 33-year-old hit the back of the Silverado, which crashed into the Mustang. The Silverado driver was not injured and was issued a ticket for failure to control speed.
