Four people were taken to a Beaumont hospital by ambulance Tuesday night after a collision caused a Jeep Wrangler to flip over several times.
The crash was about 10 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 87 South and FM 105. The driver of the Jeep was given a ticket for running a red light.
Orange Officer L.T. Holland reported the Jeep was traveling in the inside southbound lane. A Chevrolet Silverado pickup was in the left turning lane of the northbound lanes. When the Jeep ran the red light, it hit the truck as it was turning.
The collision made the Jeep roll over and flip several times before landing on the roof.
Officer Holland reported that 22-year-old Trayton Jacob Wantuck of Bridge City was driving the Jeep with 40-year-old Roxie Nicole Wantuck as passenger.
The truck was driven by 36-year-old Jason Roy of West Orange. His passenger was 29-year-old David Jack Robinson.
All four were taken by Acadian Ambulance Service to St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont with non-incapacitating injuries.
