It will be a homecoming for SFA catcher Taylor Fraccastoro (LCM) as she will lead the 15-12 Lumberjacks into Beaumont this weekend to play against Lamar University with two games Friday (4pm) and one on Saturday beginning at 2pm. Fraccastoro leads the Lady Jacks in RBI’s (27) and doubles (7). She is third on the team with a .313 batting average and second in homers with four.

Texas A&M junior outfielder Keeli Milligan of Vidor is leading the team with a .383 average and 27 runs scored. She has also hit a homerun and has five RBI’s.
Kasey Frederick (BC) is leading Nicholls State with a 19-7 record, 6-0 in conference and 10 in a row. The All-Conference performer is second on the team with a .367 average and 20 RBI’s. She leads with nine doubles and has also hit two HR’s. They play Southeastern this weekend.
Centenary softball features two players from Orange County in Kelsey Ancelot and Wendy Gillet. Ancelot, an All-Conference outfielder from a year ago, has already been named SCAC Player of the Week this season. The outfielder from Orangefield is leading the team with a .404 average and is 13-15 in stolen bases. Gillet is hitting .333 for the Ladies.
BASEBALL
Kyle Bergeron (BC) and the Incarnate Word Cardinals will be hosting Lamar in Southland Conference play in San Antonio this weekend against Jack Dallas, Peyton Robertson and the LU Cardinals. The sophomore catcher leads his IW (13-10) with a .376 batting average. He’s second in RBI’s and first in homeruns on the team. The games are scheduled for Friday at 6:30, Saturday at 2pm and Sunday at 1pm at Sullivan Field.
Dallas is 1-1 for the 4-17 Cardinals. The freshman from WOS has seen action in eight games with two starts. He has an ERA of 2.84 with 14 strikeouts in 19 innings giving up 6 walks and 6 earned runs. Robertson, a sophomore from WOS, is batting .135 with 13 starts and 15 appearances this season.
KJ Miller, a freshman at East Texas Baptist, is hitting .220 with a homerun and eight RBI’s for the 11-10 Tigers. ETBU will host Howard Payne this weekend.
WO-Stark’s Grant and Aidan Anderson of McNeese (8-12) will be taking a five game win streak to Nicholls State. Grant is 2-1 in 7 appearances with a 4.15 ERA. He has 20K’s in 17.1 innings with 8 earned runs and 12 walks. Aidan is 2-4 with a 5.96 ERA. He has struck out 29 in 25.2 innings while giving up 17 earned runs and 9 walks.
Braxton Smith of Orangefield is now with Louisiana Tech after going 7-4 for LSU-Eunice last season. In nine appearances off the bench, Smith is 1-0 with 3 saves and an ERA of 0.47. He has 27 K’s in 19 innings for the 17-6 Bulldogs.
Chase Shugart (BC) and the Texas Longhorns (13-9) are riding a four game win streak when they host Oklahoma State for three this weekend. Shug is 1-2 in five starts with a 5.04 ERA. He has struck out 18 in 30.1 innings. Teams are hitting .234 against him.
Mitchell Lee (LCM) is at Tyler JC (16-15) where he has a 1-2 record with a 10.45 ERA. The freshman has seen action in 12 of the Apache games.
