Orange County District Clerk’s Office re-opens Monday September 18th
The District Clerk’s Office will be located at the Adult Probation Building in the Cluster Court Office, 106 Border St. Due to space constraints, deputies will be rotating shifts and only 2 phones will be shared between them, the phone numbers requested to be forwarded are 882-7836, 883-7827, 882-7825 and 882- 7829.
All e-mail should be directed to districtclerk@co.orange.tx.us please provide information needed to determine priority; you MUST include your name, address and phone number, response is based on priority.
Currently all juries for September, October and November have been cancelled. Our office will be forwarding all e-filed orders requiring hearings directly to the Judges and each court will decide what to hear based on priority which will dictate the priority we issue any requested services. We will begin to process filings in e-file in the order they were received.
This will be a tedious process, thank you in advance for your support as we begin this challenge. Only one public computer terminal could be set up due to space limitations. Thank you to everyone for your patience and understanding and please bear with us as we work through this, our goal is to serve you to the best of our ability. Here’s to moving forward with you to rebuild Orange County, we are proud of our county, proud to be Texans, and we are survivors. The road to recovery personally and professionally for all will be a lengthy one. We are ready to greet you with a smile, compassion, and words of encouragement.
Thank you for the honor of serving as your District clerk.
