Starlight COGIC at 2800 Bob Hall Rd. is hosting Vacation Bible School, June 26-30 from 9 a.m. – Noon. The theme is Glow for Jesus, Let Your Light Shine. The community and parents are invited  to the Vacation Bible School program Friday at 7 p.m. Vacation  School will be held in the E.B. Lindsey Family Life Center.

Trinity Baptist Church will host a piano concert featuring Wade Daniel, Sunday, June 25, at 2:00 pm.  Formerly the Minister of Music at North Orange Baptist Church, Mr. Daniel is currently the Minister of Music at First Baptist Church of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, and a piano instructor at Oklahoma Wesleyan University.  He is an accomplished pianist, having accompanied the “Singing Men of South East Texas” and the Century Men choir.  The concert ensures to be an inspirational and entertaining program  for all audiences.  A love offering will be taken.  Trinity Baptist Church is located at 1819 16th Street in orange.

It’s Barnyard Roundup time at Cowboy Church! Come jump into a Bible school that’s all about Jesus. We’ll have Bible stories and lessons, fun games, crafts, and food. Ages 4 years – 6th grade. Hartburg Baptist Church will be having Vacation Bible School on June 26, 27,&28 . (Monday- Wednesday). We will start at 5:00 p.m. and end at 8:00 p.m. Our theme is “Camp Out”. For more information call the church at 409-746-2841.

EVERYONE is invited to an open-mic singing Friday, June 30th, 10681 N. Hwy 87 at the New Anointing Church. Please bring your Gospel tape, CD, and musical instruments, you can sing accapella or you can have the musicians accompany you. whatever you desire. If you just want to come and listen to some good old gospel music…COME ON!!! This will be a wonderful evening of worship and praise, as we lift up the name of JESUS.
331 Handbells & Chimes Choir to Perform June 6th at 7:00pm at the First United Methodist Church  Family Life Center corner of 5th and Elm Streets. Sponsored by St. Paul’s Episcopal Church and The First United Methodist Church of Orange. Cast of Bronze will perform a program entitled “Bronze Mosaic”    featuring original handbell compositions by Karen Buckwalter, Cathy Moklebust, Arnold Sherman and many others. They will play marches, classical and sacred music, and other familiar tunes.  Come and join us for a fun-filled informal and interactive concert that is free and open to the public. Come see and hear the largest and smallest handbells ever manufactured.  Following the concert members of the audience will be invited to come and ring bells or chimes and ask questions of the ringers and director.  Cast of Bronze has released their first CD titled “Opening Night”.
At Maker Fun Factory Vacation Bible School, kids explore the rock-solid foundation of Jesus’ love. It is filled with incredible Bible-learning experiences kids see, hear, touch, and even taste! Science –Fun Gizmos, team-building games, cool Bible songs and stories, and tasty snacks are just a few of the standout activities that help faith flow into real life. Since everything is hands-on, kids might get messy, so be sure to send them in play clothes and safe shoes. We’ll help kids discover how to see evidence of God in everyday life – something we call God Sightings. Get ready to hear that phrase a lot! Parents are invited to join us at 11:10 for the closing each day. We hope to see you children at Maker Fun Factory. First United Methodist Church is located at 502 N. 6th street with Vacation Bible School being held in the Family Life Center on 5th street.
