LUKE should be active during the month of June in Bridge City. LUKE, which is the abbreviation for Let Us Know Everything, is a 311 system which will allow citizens to contact Bridge City about problems with municipal services.
City Manager Jerry Jones said Bridge City has placed signs throughout the city to inform citizens of the new service available to them. Jones has tested the new system and it does seem to be working as advertised. There are information handouts available at the City Hall on Rachal Avenue for citizens who want to get the LUKE app on their phone.
The free app can be put on a cell phone to bring problems to City Hall’s attention in Bridge City. Traffic lights that are not working, pot holes that need filling, or other problems can be handled by the city if the citizen takes a picture of it with their cell phone and then sending it to LUKE.
