At the Don Gibbens Tournament –
LCM won two nail-biters. The Bears beat Buna 2-1 behind the pitching of Reagan Burdette and Thayne Toomey. LCM also defeated Elysian Fields 2-1 behind the pitching of Anthony Bandiero. Jordan Alexander scored both runs for the Bears.

At the Cameron Yoe Tournament –
BC defeated Navasota 7-2. Caleb Dubois went the distance with 4K and 1 walk. Peyton Havard was 3-3 and Jackson Tims drove in two.
BC beat Taylor 3-2. Logan Hamm and Justyn Romero combined for 8K’s and held the Ducks to 3 hits. Dubois was 2-2 with 2 runs scored.

At the Anderson Shiro Tournament –
Despite allowing three runs in the second inning, Bobcats defeated Rockdale 12-4 on Friday. Bobcats secured the victory thanks to seven runs in the first inning. Brett Fregia, Ryan Deutsch, Blake Bradley, Gunner Jones, Johnny Armstrong, and Kadeon Evans powered the big inning with RBIs. Bobcats had ten hits in the game. Evans and Armstrong each had multiple hits for Bobcats. Evans led Bobcats with three hits in three at bats.
Bobcats defeated Anderson-Shiro 7-1 on Friday thanks to five runs in the fifth inning. Ryan Deutsch, Brett Fregia, and Johnny Armstrong each had RBIs in the big inning. Bobcats notched five runs in the fifth inning. Mason Gonzales was the winning pitcher for Bobcats. He went four innings, allowing one run on three hits and striking out seven. Armstrong threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen. The Bobcats are now 5-1-1 and will finish the tournament with Jewett Leon Saturday at 11:00.

At the Liberty Softball Tournament –
LCM beat Sabine Pass 11-1. Bailey Frenzel threw a 2 hitter with 8K’s. Bri Frenzel was 3-3 with an RBI and Renna Toomey was 2-3 with 2 RBI’s.
LCM defeated Liberty 2-1. Bri Frenzel struck out 5 for the win.
