Orange County entities have received the first monthly sales tax payments for 2017. The payments from the Texas Comptroller’s Office cover sales in the month of November.
The sales taxes are:
Bridge City: $117,759, up 9.76 percent from the same time last year.
Orange: $289,626, up 8.75 percent from the same time last year.
Pinehurst: $42,750, down 13.8 percent from the same time last year.
Vidor: $184,998, up 9.44 percent from the same time last year.
West Orange: $99,482, up 4.49 percent from the same time last year.
Orange County: $326,806, down 20 percent from the same time last year.
Orange County Emergency Services District No. 3 (Little Cypress Fire and Rescue): $15,305.
