It took an hour for the LCM Lady Bears to win three straight (8, 14, 10) against Shepherd in the first round of the 4A Volleyball Playoffs.
Lady Bears (23-9) will travel to Barbers Hill Thursday, Nov 2 to play against Tarkington in the Area Round at 5:30.

The Bridge City Lady Cardinals, a fourth seed out of 22-4A, pulled off the upset in Kirbyville Tuesday with a four set win over Tarkington. They will face Hardin-Jefferson in the second round, Thursday at 7pm in Vidor Below Coach Becca Peveto celebrates with her team on match point.
The Deweyville Lady Pirates will play North Zulch HS on Saturday at 2pm in Woodville.
