The City of Orange Swim Team competed this weekend at the Orange Natatorium led by Head Coach Megan Phares and Assistant Coach Brittney Dorman. 

COST swam 35 best times Saturday against the University Dolphins from Lake Charles. 

On the boys’ side in the 6 and under division Jason Guidry won first in the 25 yard free, first in the 25 yard breast, first in the 25 yard back.  Jason “Motorboat” Guidry dropped a total of 28.62 seconds in the meet.

In the 7-8 division Bradley Brzezinski finished first in the 25 yard free, first in the 25 yard breast.

In the 9-10 division Rylan Odom nabbed first in the 100 yard IM, first in the 25 yard free, second in the 25 yard butterfly and Chase LeDoux won third in the 25 yard free, first in the 25 yard breast, third in the 25 yard butterfly.  Joshua Howard grabbed fifth in the 25 yard free, third in the 25 yard back.  Blaken Daville finished sixth in the 25 yard free, third in the 25 yard breast, fourth in the 25 yard butterfly.

In the 11-12 division Michael Dupre grabbed first in the 50 yard free, first in the 50 yard breast, first in the 50 yard back.  Jordan Dodson won fourth and Tommy Brzezinski finished second in the 50 yard free, third in the 50 yard breast and second in the back.

In the 13-14 division Dmitri Lacour was third in the 50 yard free, second in the 50 yard breast, and second in the 50 yard back.  Teammate John Phillips finished seventh in the 50 yard free, fifth in the 50 yard breast, second in the 50 yard butterfly. 

In the 15-and-over division Alex Dorman won first in the 100 yard IM, first in the 50 yard back, second in the 50 yard butterfly, and Will Cowart captured first in the 50 yard free, first in the 50 yard breast.  Brandon Dodson finished second in the 50 yard free, third in the 50 yard breast, second in the 50 yard back.

                On the girls’ side, Rae Guidry finished first in the 25 yard breast, third in the 25 yard back, and teammate Audrey Zeto finished fourth in the 25 yard free, and fifth in the 25 yard back in the 7-8 division.

                In the 9-10 girls division, Shelby Perales won third in the 25 yard free, first in the 25 breast, second in the 25 yard back and Megan Brzezinski finished first in the 25 yard free, third in the 25 yard breast, second in the 25 yard butterfly.  Teammate Abby Gautreaux finished second in the 25 yard free, fourth in the 25 yard breast, fifth in the 25 yard back.

                In the 11-12 division, Paige Perales won all three of her individual events by taking the 50 yard free, 50 yard back, 25 yard butterfly.  Maegan Reinhardt won second in the 50 yard free, third in the 50 yard breast, second in the 50 yard back.  Kristen Blanke finished fifth in the 50 yard free, fourth in the 50 yard back.

                In the 13-14 division, Abbi LeDoux won first in the 100 yard IM, third in the 50 yard free, second in the 50 yard breast and Chasity Chapman finished fourth in the 50 yard free, third in the 50 yard back, while teammate Emily Blanke finished sixth in the 50 yard free, and second in the 50 yard back.  Hannah McLendon finished fifth in the 50 yard free, and third in the breast,

                In the 15 & over division, Maria Dupre completed a first place sweep in three events by taking the 50 yard free, first in the back, and 50 yard butterfly.  Coach Megan Phares won first in the 50 yard breast.

Results for the Medley Relays:

                In the mixed 9-10 division COST grabbed both first and third place finishes in the 100 yard Medley Relay.  First Place:  Shelby Perales, Chase LeDoux, Rylan Odom, Megan Brzezinski.  Second Place:  Joshua Howard, Blaken Daville, Abby Gautreaux, Bradley Brzezinski.

                In the mixed 11-12 division of the Medley Relay COST had a second place finish:  Kristen Blanke, Tommy Brzezinski, Maegan Reinhardt, Jordan Dodson. 

                In the mixed 13-14 division Medley Relay team members, Michael Dupre, Dmitri Lacour, Paige Perales, and Abbi LeDoux had a first place finish. 

                In the mixed 15 and over division, COST again had a first place finish of the Medley Relay.  Brandon Dodson, Hannah McLendon, John Phillips, and Chasity Chapman.

Free Style Relay:

                In the mixed 9-10 division, COST had first and third place finishes.  First Place:  Megan Brzezinski, Chase LeDoux, Shelby Perales, Rylan Odom.  Second Place:  Joshua Howard, Bradley Brzezinski, Abby Gautreaux, Blaken Daville.

                In the mixed 11-12 division, COST had a first place finish.  Maegan Reinhardt, Jordan Dodson, Kristen Blanke, Tommy Brzezinski. 

                In the mixed 13-14 division, COST had first and third place finishes.  First Place:  Michael Dupre, Dmitri LaCour, Abbi LeDoux, Paige Perales.  Second Place:  Emily Blanke, Chasity Chapman, Hannah McLendon, John Phillips.

                In the mixed 15 and over division, Brandon Dodson, Maria Dupre, Megan Phares, and Alex Dorman finished up with a first place finish. 

                COST will now prepare for their Championship Meet, which will be held Saturday, July 26, 2008 at the SPAR Pool in Sulphur, Louisiana.
